This year’s conference is being co-hosted by VKAP and New Hampshire RAPP (Relatives As Parents Program) Coalition. Funding is needed to cover the cost of kinship caregivers who attend the conference without charge.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

  • Sponsor a fundraiser for the conference
  • Solicit donations from businesses for the kin scholarships
  • Solicit items for the silent auction

VKAP NEWSLETTER: VKAP VOICES

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

  • Maintain and update the newsletter mailing list
  • Write a pertinent news article:
    • As a kinship caregiver, share your story (anonymously if preferred); reflect on a particular event or issue or tell a humorous story related to kinship care. Keep it to less than 500 words.
    • As a service provider, write about services in your organization that are available to kinship families.
  • Lay-out the newsletter electronically
  • Photocopy the newsletter
  • Fold, seal, and label the newsletter
